1. మెరుపుల నృత్యం
నేటి
వర్షపు కుప్పల గర్భిణీ మేఘాలు
దయాదాక్షిణ్యాలు చూపిస్తున్నాయి
ఎండిపోయిన గొంతుల దుస్థితిని
గ్రహించాయి.
మెరుపు మెరిసింది
పిడుగుల గర్జన అనుసరించింది
వర్షం స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తోంది.

వర్షం ఎక్కడుంది?
చీకటి మేఘాలు ఎక్కడ అదృశ్యమయ్యాయి?
ఆకాశం ఖాళీ అయ్యింది
ఒక్క మేఘం కూడా మిగలలేదు.
చంద్రుడు, నక్షత్రాలు కనిపించాయి
రాత్రి వచ్చేసింది
మన రాజకీయ నాయకుల వలె;

మెరుపుల నృత్యం ముగిసింది
ఎండిపోయిన హృదయాలను పగలగొడుతోంది.

The Dance of Lightning
~
Today’s
Heaps of rain pregnant clouds
Are showing benevolence!
They have fathomed
The misery of the parched throats.
Lightning has flashed
Followed by a roar of thunder
The rain is evident.
Where is rain
Where have the dark heavy clouds disappeared?
The sky
Has cleared up
Not a speck of cloud is left in it.
The moon and stars have appeared
The night has arrived
And, like the politicians of this land
The dance of the lightening has ended
Shattering the parched hearts.

2. చీలిక
దృఢంగా నిర్ణయించుకున్నాను
ఈ జీవితంలో ఖాళీ స్థలం ఉండకూడదు.
అప్పటికి
నాకు ఒక్క ఖాళీ స్థలం కూడా కనిపించలేదు.
చీలికకు ముందు,
చీలిక యొక్క ప్రారంభ బిందువును పరిష్కరించాను.
గొప్ప అహంకారంతో
ఎంత జీవితం గడిపానో!

అప్పటి జీవితాలు చాలా గొప్పవి, నిజమైనవి
అవునా!?
మరీ కలల సంగతి.

రోజు మొదటి కాంతికి మేల్కొలుపు,
ప్రణాళిక దశలు, సరైన దృష్టితో ప్రయాణం,
నడవడానికి నేల లేదు, విశాలమైన ఖాళీలు విస్తరించి ఉన్నాయి,
శూన్యత, జీవిత పిలుపుతో నిమగ్నమై ఉంది.
ఒక చీలికను పూడ్చేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నాను
ఫలితంగా నా జీవితంలో అలసట.

నేను కలలుగన్న గమ్యం
చాలా దూరంగా ఉంది.
రోజు రోజుకి
ఆ స్థలం కూడా విస్తరిస్తోంది.

The rift
~
It’s firmly decided
No empty space will make in this life.
The then
I’d found not a single empty space.
Before creating a rift,
I just fixed the starting point
Of a crack.
What a life lived
with such great arrogance!
Lives of the then pretended as the best real life
They weren’t,
But the dreams.
Awakening to the day’s first light,
Planning steps, journey in sight,
No ground to tread, vast spaces sprawl,
Preoccupied by emptiness, life’s call.
Trying to fill a single rift
Resulting fatigue in my life.
The destination that I dreamt of
Oh! It’s too far away from me.
That space is also widening
Day by day.
