[A poem by Mr. Samudrala Harikrishna titled ‘Comeback!’.]
The lone Voyager
Trudges on
Thru’ the cottony clouds
Thru’ the ashen ones
Bothered by neither
As the lustre
Peels off bit by bit
The golden round cake
Sliced off by a knife unseen
Each passing night
The end, well in sight – – – –
Still – – – –
His resolve solid as Steel
His charm for life, Surreal!
The Moon lives to fight
As the Emperor of Night
And fight he does Royally
Taking the losses, Stoically!
Lo, He’s turned the tide
The Nightqueen’s smile grows wide
Stolen sheen all retrieved
A Regal Comeback, unparalleled!
Waxing and Waning with Composure
Moon, the curious chandelier of Nature!!
