Studying by the window Side
My roving thoughts go Aglide
Atop the White cloudy Tides
With spires on the azure Skies!
The swaying creeper’s Leaves
Its blooming velvety Flowers
The humming honeybees Around
My focus on the letters Vanished!
The climber’s floral Presence
It’s friendly chatting Fragrance
Mean a nought to the Arty Window
The unaffected, an aesthetic Hollow!
The squirrel with its rolling Eyes
Scampering on with a chirpy Voice!
How do I read here, much as I want
Scared as I am, of teacher’s Taunt!
Adding to my woes’s the Toy Vendor
A Jeep, a Gun, a Horse all in Splendour!
The clever man moving up and Down
A mere ploy to make my resolve Drown!
Studious I am, I turn the other Way
Only to sit staring at the dull wall’s Grey!
I hear a low masonic yet caring Advice
It loves you Boy, show it y’r dainty Face!
